Features
Unlimited direct pull, a WhatsApp-like viewer, your own Google Drive, the web, and memories.
What WaChat does
Two ways to import, a viewer that looks exactly like WhatsApp, and everything backed up to your Drive.
Direct pull
Using WhatsApp's own 64-digit encryption key. Every message, photo and voice note — no manual export.
WhatsApp export
Have a ZIP or TXT from "Export chat"? Open it in WaChat and it becomes a live chat with media.
Exactly like WhatsApp
Bubbles, playable voice notes, stickers, replies, instant search and jump to any date.
Your Google Drive
Messages and media in the hidden app folder. Sign in on a new phone and everything comes back.
On the web
web.wachatplus.com: the same chats on a big screen, WhatsApp Web style — linked with a code from the app in seconds.
Optional encryption
A passphrase of your own encrypts the backup before it reaches Drive. Not even Google can read it.
WhatsApp export stops at 10,000 messages. WaChat doesn't.
WhatsApp's "Export chat" truncates: 10k messages with media or 40k without. A five-year chat loses its beginning.
10,000 messages with media · 40,000 without · manual every time · voice notes and photos often missing.
Every message from day one · every photo, voice note and sticker · one-time setup · automatic nightly updates (Plus).
WhatsApp is for talking. WaChat is for remembering.
Every memory is private, never sent to anyone, and stored on your Drive next to the chat.
Today's memory
"On this day, 3 years ago" — a photo or message picked smartly from your chats, every morning.
Weekly rewind
A 20-second video from this week's photos across the years, ready to share.
Our story & yearbook
First message, milestones, busiest day, word of the year — and a PDF book to print or gift.
✨ Coming in the next updates for Plus members
We can't see your messages. By design.
Not a promise — an architecture. The path is your phone → your Drive → your browser. There is no stop at our place.
The 64-digit key is wrapped by Android Keystore and never leaves the device.
Only the drive.appdata scope — WaChat can't see your files, and you can wipe the folder from Drive settings.
Your browser fetches files from Drive with your own token. Our server holds only your subscription state and a sign-in token.
