Deleting your data
How to remove chats from a browser, from Drive, and how to delete your account.

Because your data lives in your places, you delete it in your places.
From a browser
WaChat Web → Settings → Privacy → Delete all data on this device. This removes every imported chat, media file and stored key from that browser. You can also delete a single chat from its menu.
Clearing the browser's site data for web.wachatplus.com has the same effect.
From Google Drive
WaChat stores backups in the hidden app folder that only WaChat can see. To remove it: Google Drive → Settings (gear) → Manage apps → WaChat → Options → Delete hidden app data. This removes every backup at once, for the app and the web.
From the Android app
Settings → Storage → delete chats individually, or uninstall the app to remove everything on the phone.
Your account on our server
WaChat Web → Settings → Account → Delete account. This removes your account record, subscription state and linked devices. Cancel any active subscription first. Deleting the account does not touch Drive or your devices — do those steps separately if you want everything gone.
We do not keep backups of deleted account records beyond the standard 30-day infrastructure backups.
