Prices by country — and why you can't switch
Plus is priced fairly for each country. The country is set by our server and locked to your account.

WaChat Plus costs a different amount depending on where you live. We use three price groups — the same templates Google Play applies — so that Plus costs roughly the same share of income everywhere.
For example: Egypt 39 EGP a month, India ₹69, Turkey ₺59, Indonesia Rp 12,900, Saudi Arabia and the UAE 14.99 in local currency, and $3.99 in the United States and most of Europe. Yearly is about 58% cheaper than twelve months, and the first year has an introductory discount.
How the country is decided
Your country is detected on our server from your connection when you open the pricing page or start checkout. There is no country picker anywhere in the purchase flow, so the price cannot be changed by hand.
Locked to your account
The price group is written into your subscription when you buy. Renewals use the same price even if you travel or move, which keeps things fair for people who move around.
Cards from another country
Our payment partner checks the card's country and billing address. If they belong to a higher price group than your connection, the purchase is declined before completion or refunded automatically with an explanation.
Google Play
In the Android app, Google Play shows its own price for your Play country. It matches our web price because both use the same templates.
