WaChat opens the WhatsApp chats you already have and keeps them in full: every message from the first day, every photo, voice note, sticker and document, plus replies and reactions.
It comes in two parts:
- WaChat Web (web.wachatplus.com) runs in your browser. Drop a WhatsApp export or your encrypted backup and read it right away — no app, no account, no upload.
- The Android app decrypts your backup on the phone, saves it to the hidden app folder of your own Google Drive, and updates it every night. Anything it saves also opens on the web.
Why not just use WhatsApp's export? Because it stops at 10,000 messages with media, or 40,000 without, and drops most attachments. WaChat has no such limit — a 336,000-message chat with media imports fine.
